We are heading towards the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces in the middle of the month on September 16, 2016 at 3:05 p.m. EDT.
As we are working our way from the New Moon in Virgo at the beginning of the month, we are leading up to the Full Moon in Pisces. Both have eclipses, which signifies closing and opening doors, moving from the past to the future with a new perspective and personal changes. Some consider eclipses to amplify the power of New and Full Moons. With Jupiter in Libra, you be the judge.
The Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces can feel highly emotional, especially if you have your natal Moon in a water sign or were born between the 1st and 10th of your month.
Since the New Moon, what we’ve been working towards, is to develop a lifestyle that is more orderly and organized so we can reach greater potential in our lives. Sometimes that means letting go of the past to venture forward in new ways.
Now, as we reach this Full Moon, the culmination, conclusion and end of a chapter we experience can bring up a lot of feelings to the surface.
Pisces is a highly emotional, sentimental, heartfelt, compassionate sign. It is likely that we could shed tears, or well up with strong feelings as we think about how far we’ve come and all we’ve been through. Has all the hard work and development of your skills and talents made you a better person more in touch with your spirit?
Around this time, someone’s life story can touch us deeply making us realize how connected and similar we really are to one another in the grand scheme of things.
This is a time where you may realize that the new routines and lifestyle you’ve been working on has you say goodbye to the old you. If you were stuck in a pattern for a long time, this could be when you realize that life is changing and there’s no turning back.
Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, is the higher octave of Venus. Venus is concerned with romance and worldly relationships, while Neptune and Pisces are about divine love, oneness and unity.
Venus in Libra stands across the sky from Uranus retrograde in Aries on September 18th. With Uranus retrograde in Aries, so much of what we’re concerned with now is our personal identity and self awareness. We can all feel a bit more self identified and rebel against external rules and judgments from others about who we are or who we should be.
Venus now implores us to reach out to others in harmony and to find the commonality between us. Instead of comparing ourselves to others, we can find unity when our hearts are guiding us in relationships.
Venus and Mars are in harmony on the 19th. This is great for dating and romance. There is an enthusiasm on this day, and brings the Mars-Venus-Uranus connection closer. An adventurous, active spirit between two people can be thrilling. The Moon also meets Uranus at this time. You could be surprised by how excited and comfortable you are with another. Many will likely conceive on this day.
End of the Month
The end of this month is full of transitions.
On September 20th Mercury in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn connect. Both of these planets are retrograde at this time. This is an excellent day to let go of old mental baggage and purge yourself of negative thinking. In politics and business it could be best that you keep quiet and observe what’s going on behind the scenes. In any company you deal with, recognizing bureaucratic processes that aren’t working is likely. Issues that need further analysis can prompt you to think differently and try to figure out better solutions and processes.
Mercury is also close to the North Node on this day, so the information that arises today can be synchronistic, and feel like it is destined to be revealed. On the other hand, you could be asked to keep a business secret, and partly it could make you feel special to know the inside scoop.
Keep in mind that with Mercury retrograde the trickster motif is emphasized. Scandals or hidden information could come out in the open. The media, or the types that love to gossip, could have a field day with such information, but misinformation is also likely. The information and context is likely to change as it goes from one person to another, and a whole new storyline can emerge. Take what you hear with a grain of salt for now, more information will be revealed in the coming days that is likely to be more accurate.
Though it could be on some people’s mind, making a big decision like leaving a job isn’t a great idea during a Mercury retrograde, as mixed messages and incorrect information could have you jumping to conclusions. But, if you’ve been in an environment that has been unhealthy for a while, the wish to change the rules is heightened now. Asking for a raise would be better in a couple of days, than it would be today.
It isn’t a great time to invest. Perceptions can be off and the numbers could make swift changes. It’s better to be cautious and to do more research in general when Mercury is retrograde.
Mercury stations direct on September 22, 2016 at 1:30 am EDT, then connects with Pluto again on the 23rd. So between the 21st and 23rd Mercury connects with Pluto twice which puts a lot of focus on power games and plays. The issues that have been coming up can lead to smarter solutions going forward. The transformation that happens in politics and business during this period day can feel like a big swinging change of direction and there is sure to be lots of rhetoric. Information is likely to become more accurate and on target over the coming days.
The Sun enters Libra on September 22 as well, during Mercury’s transition from retrograde to direct. This has an emphasis on us bringing more balance, fairness and equality to our lives overall.
Venus enters Scorpio on September 23rd, 2016. This can be good for relationships where passion is a governing theme. Scorpio is a sign known for jealousy, and Venus here can amp that up because Venus is about possessions. Those who see their significant other as their sole property will likely find such feelings will increase over the coming weeks, especially if there has been reason to be suspicious.
Sensuality and pleasures of the five senses is also highlighted. Sexual chemistry can get a significant boost and love and passion manifests stronger desires of intimacy.
The Sun meets Jupiter in Libra on September 26, 2016 shining a big, bright spotlight on Jupiter in Libra (mentioned above for September 9th) and could kickstart a larger dialogue of pros and cons, right and wrong, especially in terms of the law, politics and business.
This is a positive configuration, encouraging an abundance of optimism. Bringing forth positivity and harmony to your relationships will bring luck and growth to your life. This would be a great time to go on a romantic date. Visiting an art gallery, or going for a stroll soaking up all the beauty and light in nature is refreshing and inspiring.
If you are an artist that focuses on harmony in and symmetry in you work would do well to showcase your creations.
Philosophical ponderance of the symbolism of love, light and harmony in the world can bring a sense of enlightenment to your reality now.
Giving and receiving is equally valued today. Prosperity grows when it is shared. To treat others as equals can bring much harmony. Remember goodness today and take that with you forward for the next New Moon coming up at the end of the month.
Pluto stations Direct in Capricorn on September 26, 2016 at 11:02 a.m. EDT. I have made a special post exploring Pluto stationing Direct here.
Mars enters Capricorn on the 27th at 4:07 pm EDT. So, you can imagine that especially with elections coming up, October is going to be pretty intense with the political rhetoric. Financial markets will be squirming with anticipation and curiosity. Talk about war is going to be a stronger consideration and fear could unfortunately be taken up a notch.
Those who are ambitious and have big goals are going to feel the need to put the pedal to the metal now, and some will be intense in their battle for the prize.
With Pisces direct, expressions of spirituality will be on the rise, and with Uranus retrograde, the grassroots counter culture to political corruption will increase as people seek their own identity in relation to the larger circumstances of society. Pluto retrograde indicates that more people will be distrusting of government bodies and could bring strong resistance as they seek to purge the system of what is deemed as having a negative impact.
It’s a New Moon in Libra on September 30, 2016 at 8:11 pm EDT. This sets us up for the beginning of October to make balance a priority. Libra likes peace and with the sun here it emphasizes how important it is to share your light with others.
This New Moon is close to Jupiter in Libra as well, further emphasizing the need to expand our worldview to be more broader and more encompassing. Seeing how we are more alike than we are different helps us to create more balance in the world.
The sanskrit word Namaste is commonly used by yogi’s and the new age community, meaning, “The light in me bows to the light in you” signifying unity that is on a spiritual, soul level.
Many will recognize a stronger need to bring balance and positivity to the people around them. It is the one on one relationships that make the most difference.
The next month is going to be huge in terms of balance between right and wrong, and September is the beginning of much to come.
